Wi-Fi QR poster

Print an A4 poster that lets guests join your Wi-Fi by scanning a code. Nothing you type leaves this page.

More options

Prints on one A4 page with no margins. In the print dialog choose A4 and scale 100 % (Default). Edge and Chrome leave out page headers and footers automatically; in Firefox or Safari, untick Headers and footers.

The code is made in your browser. Your network name and password are not sent to Surftec or anyone else. Copy link to this poster gives a link you can send to someone so they can print it; the details are inside the link itself (after the #), so treat it like the password.

About this tool

Type your guest network's name and password and print the poster. Guests point their phone camera at the code and join without typing. The code is made in your browser, so the password is never sent anywhere.

Common questions

Does it work on iPhone and Android?

Yes. The camera apps on current iPhones and Android phones read Wi-Fi codes directly.

Should I use my main Wi-Fi network?

Use a separate guest network where you can. It keeps visitors off the network your computers and printers use.
